The Origin Of The School:

In the 1990's several preachers from the area were meeting every
Saturday teaching classes to members of the several congregations
who were interested in more knowledge and training in the
Scriptures. Several meetings were conducted to consider and plan
a full-time school with Roland Cumbee, Joseph Barr, Billy McVey,
Braker Carter, Larry Williams, Halbert Tucker and Melvin Sapp
being present. The school opened its doors in January of 1995 at
the central location of Kingstree. In July of 2001 the regents
unanimously agreed to moved the school to Sumter, South Carolina.
