Central Carolina School of Preaching

Melvin Sapp obeyed the Gospel at the Church of  Christ on McCartha Drive in Columbus, Georgia.
He enrolled in the Memphis School of Preaching and graduated in April of 1986.

While in school he married Frances Reid and they now have two children; Xavier (21) and Candace (19) years old.  

He started full-time preaching for the Northside church of Christ in Butler, Alabama 1986 and labored with that congregation for seven and one-half years (7-1/2). He accepted the work with the Kingsbury Road church of Christ in Sumter, South Carolina in October of 1993 and continues at this present time. Bro. Sapp was appointed as one of the  elders at Kingsbury Road in February of 2002.
     Bro. Sapp is the director and is an instructor for the Central Carolina School of Preaching in Sumter, South Carolina, of which he is one of the founding preachers of the school in
January of 1995. CCSP is a full-time school with five instructors and presently nine students and operates under the oversight of the eldership.
     Bro. Sapp has spoken on several Lectureships including: Memphis School of Preaching; Seek The Old Paths in Corinth, MS;  Palmetto Lectureship, Greer, SC;  Carolina Lectureship;
Laborers Together With Him in Pensacola, FL; Men’s Fellowship in Rock Hill, SC; Florida School of Preaching in Lakeland, FL; East Tennessee School of Preaching in Knoxville, TN; Central Carolina School of Preaching in Sumter, SC and others.
     Bro. Sapp has conducted Gospel Meetings in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Kentucky.
