MEET THE FACULTY

David Ferneyhough: Dean of Students

David graduated from East Tennessee School of Preaching in 1977. David is married
to Cynthia and they have a grown son and daughter. Bro. Ferneyhough has preached
full-time in Newman, GA.; Dillon, Myrtle Beach, and Georgetown, SC.; Hickory, NC; and
Staunton, VA. David retired from full-time preaching and started teaching in the school
in 2005. The Ferneyhoughs have worked in every aspect of teaching and training
within the congregation. Bro. Ferneyhough has invested 26 years in the art of sermon
design and delivery. David has directed three state-wide Lectureships and has
experience in radio and television programs.


Melvin Hampton:  Instructor

Melvin is a graduate of the Memphis School of Preaching in 1979. He is married with 3
(three) children. Melvin has also been involved in undergraduate studies at Alabama
Christian University. Bro. Hampton has been preaching over 24 years.
Bro. Hampton has preached for congregations in several states; including Tennessee,
Alabama and South Carolina. He has been the full-time preacher at Andrews, SC since
the summer of 1998. He has worked on several campaigns, and done many gospel
meetings and Lectureships. Bro. Hampton became an instructor at CCSP in 2000.


Charles Isenberg:  Instructor

Bro. Isenberg graduated from Sunset School of Preaching in 1971 and has been the
full-time preacher for the church in Orangeburg, SC since 2004. Charles married Elsie
Jessie on Dec. 2, 1962 and they have two sons. Bro. Charles has preached full-time
for congregations in Bowling Green, and Edmonton, KY; Mocksville, NC; Dalton, GA
and Munfordville, KY. Bro. Isenberg started teaching in the school in 2005. Bro.
Isenberg had participated in campaigns in the West Indies, St. Martin, Anguilla, and
New Brunswick in Canada.


Ramdeo Ramdeen:  Instructor

Bro. Ramdeen is one of the evangelist for the church of Christ in Conway, SC. Bro.
Ramdeen is married and has three children. He is a native of Trinidad and graduated
from the Trinidad School of Preaching in May of 1981. Bro. Ram joined the staff at
CCSP in August of 2007. Bro. Ram bring energy, enthusiasm, conviction and
soundness to CCSP.


Melvin Sapp:  Director

Melvin was born in Opelika, Alabama and graduated from High School in Columbus,
Georgia in 1977. He obeyed the Gospel in Columbus, Ga. While attending Memphis
School of Preaching, Melvin married Frances Reid and they now have two children;
Xavier and Candace. After graduating in ‘86’ Melvin begin preaching for the Northside
church of Christ in Butler, AL and then accepted the work with the Kingsbury Road
church of Christ in Sumter, S. C. in 1993. Bro. Sapp is the Director of the school.


Ron Wilson:  Dean of Academics

Bro. Wilson graduated from the Memphis School of Preaching in 1972. He is married
and have no children. Ron has 28 years of preaching and teaching experience and is
a great student of the Scriptures. Bro. Wilson has preached for several congregations
in Virginia, Georgia and South Carolina. He is presently the minister at the Church of
Christ in Hemmingway, SC. He has merited several awards and contributes much
towards the Central Carolina School of Preaching. His wisdom and unsurpassed ability
to expound on the Scriptures has made him exceptionally well qualified to train men to
preach. Bro. Wilson is the Assistant Director of the school.
